The storm barrage continued on Monday with lightning over South Charleston, viewed here from the Sunset Drive overlook in downtown Charleston. Notice that the bolts in the first two frames below are part of a split-channel cloud-to-ground discharge, with different return strokes sharing the same path about halfway to the ground.
