A brilliant ranbow arches down among mountains and valleys during a rare wintertime thunderstorm near Mossy, West Virginia on December 10, 2005. Thunderstorms are the most prolific rainbow producers, as the back edge of their heavy rain cores are illuminated by the sun peeking through the clearing behind the storm. Image is from video.
